I do HATE the pre-programmed app buttons on the remote though freaking annoying and not useful. It's comfortable and didn't require line of sight, or even to be in the same room (not the same remote as a Roku tv, which is standard IR, and super picky on angles). It had the best performance at the time and It sounds silly, but I like the Roku remote. I have Roku 4k units for all the TV's, and don't use any of the smart tv apps.
